Who, me? Okay, here goes.
My name is Ryan and like you, I spend half of my waking hours getting ready for, going to, and coming home from – work.
Back in 2001 I began a dual degree program – MBA / Master of Arts in Christian Ministry – at North Park University & Seminary in Chicago. Never heard of a dual MBA – seminary degree? Well, neither had I, but I’d always been fascinated by the intersection of faith and work.
After finishing the MBA (I put the rest of the seminary degree on hold when our first child was born), I returned to the corporate sector and have been doing my best to pursue a successful career, in both the Godly and worldly sense, ever since. I created this blog to share a little of what I’ve learned, and am still learning, with you and others about what it means to be a Christian in the corporate world.
